Branch-run quantity includes 17 gas detectors, 4 flame detectors, 14 beacons, and 2 horn/strobes. Horizontal branches are supported with strut and all-thread trapezes at maximum 8-ft spacing; vertical drops use column-mounted strut clamps. The takeoff excludes shared perimeter RMC, general column drops, B307B underground feeders, exterior cable tray, fittings, field offsets, rack steel, support hardware, and material waste. Verify all lengths in the field before purchasing.

Confirm rack member sizes, wind loading, foundations, anchor embedment, corrosion protection, structural attachment types, rod lengths, seismic requirements, and manufacturer-specific device brackets before fabrication or purchase.

Routing basis

Every device box connects to one of two segregated 3/4-in. RMC systems. The gas detectors form one continuous series circuit.

    Detection RMC

    Gas monitors and flame detectors share one 3/4-in. RMC system. All 17 gas-detector points are shown in one continuous series path, including the six-point B307B group and two east/fuel-yard LEL points.

  2. 02

    B307B underground connection

    B307B is shown with transparent walls and an east–west center partition: control room on the project-facing south half and electrical room on the far north half. Separate detection and notification conduits rise at the safety-system panel, run underground to the B307 main junction box, then continue to their field circuits.

  3. 03

    Notification RMC

    Beacons, strobes, and horns use a separate 3/4-in. RMC system with parallel column drops and individual box connections.

    Exterior pipe-rack pathway

    The two systems transition separately at the east edge of B307 and continue in the orange enclosed cable tray. The tray drops at the 90-degree turn and continues to the end of the fuel yard at approximately +3 ft above grade. All device connections outside the tray remain in vertical RMC.
